Some of my dear friends at my office hosted a baby shower for me at our home office in Live Oak. Here are some of the photos from the shower. In the photo below, I'm holding a handmade teddy bear that was monogrammed with Savannah's name....it's so soft and absolutely adorable..it matches her nursery to a TEE!

Baby Shower at my office
Baby shower in Panama City - Memorial Day
Here's the gang...a group shot of all our friends and family that came into for the shower. It was great to see each and everyone of them...it had been some time since I had seen a couple....and what a way to bring friends and family together...a BABY!
I have to explain this photo, cause those of you that are looking at it are probably thinking, "what in the crap is that?" Well, my sister was one of the hostess at this shower, but unfortunately, she wasn't able to make the LONG trip from Texas for the shower....so Sarah wanted to make sure that Lori was "present" at the shower...so Sarah took a photo of Lori and blew it up as large as she could and then tried to make it look like Lori was sitting in the chair enjoying the shower with the rest of us...some of the guest got the joke, some...not so much. But I thought it was GREAT!

Savannah's hair-do
If you look really close, you can her HAIR! Today, Chris and I went to our 33 week appointment and ultrasound. The doctor said that she looked perfect! She measured exactly 32-33 weeks and weighs 4.6 pounds..what a whooper! It was kinda hard to see her on the ultrasounds this time cause she's much larger than she was 4 months ago when we had our last ultrasound. We have a couple more ultrasounds photos, but it's hard to tell exactly what you are looking at...this photo is a bit easier to see and understand...the black circle is her gorgeous head and the furry stuff around it is her adorable hair! When the nurse said, "oh, there is some hair", I immediately asked, "how much?"...."enough to float" was the response (a bit nasty to think about), but we all know what she meant. Anyway, guess we need to start buying BOWS! Chris and I laughed over the weekend as we were putting up the PINK curtains in her nursery....we said to each other, "would it be something if we went for our ultrasound on Monday and found out that we were having a boy"....we kinda laughed and moved on to the next project...then later on that night, it was obvious that it was in the front of our minds...what IF it's a boy...what are we going to do with all this PINK stuff and dresses, etc.? No, matter what, we would be excited and blessed to have a healthy baby in our arms...he just better look good in pink, hee hee! Anyway, today the nurse confirmed, "Oh yeah, It's still a girl!" The nurse also said that Savy has some long legs...we all know she doesn't get that from her mommy's side of the family...that's straight from her daddy's side! WOW, we only have 7 weeks to go. I have to thank my dear friend, Delanna for spending about an hour on the phone with me last week...I told her that I was really frecked out about labor, etc. She was awesome, she said that's normal...but then she asked, "what exactly are you frecked out about?"....there were many things, but my water breaking was the main concern at the moment...I will not go into the full details of our conversation, but I will tell you that she helped me understand the entire water breaking experience better than a doctor or book could....and for that I am very thankful...thanks D, Love you! This week, I have two showers! WOW, it's amazing to know that you have some really awesome friends...when they come together and shower you with presents for your new baby....you realized that you are loved! I have one at my office on Thursday, and I can't wait! The ladies at my office know how to COOK and have a good time...they are some of the most genuine folks that you will EVER meet and I couldn't be more thankful to them..then my friend, Delanna (the "water breaking story" friend) is throwing one at her home on Saturday! Chris and I appreciate each and every one of you thinking of us during this exciting time in our lives...we can't wait to meet our precious baby girl and look forward to showing her off to each of you. Until next, time, take care!

SNEAK PEAK - Savannah's nursery
Here are the paintings we had made for Savannah's nursery...aren't they adorable! The one below will go above her seven drawer chest, it's a dark mahogany wood. I have changed her bedding THREE times already....but I finally found the perfect bedding that matches these painting to a tee! It's plain and it's PINK! How perfect is that.....I don't have a photo of the bedding...but it's going to look precious with the dark furniture and chair that my parents bought for Savannah's room....Thanks Mom & Dad! Mom and I went this weekend to pick out the coordinating fabric for the chair...it's PINK, just a different texture...are you seeing a theme here...PINK, PINK and more PINK! I'll be posting more photos of the nursery....stay tuned! Oh yeah, I found an artist in Nashville, TN. that paints adorable nursery paintings as well as anything else you might like...for your house...anyway....her website is www.pitterpatterart.com, her name is Laura Kelley and she was a delight to work with!

Princess Update
Chris and I had our 31 week doctor's appointment yesterday, all went well. Savannah is right on target with growth, weight, etc. For some strange reason, either my insurance or the doctor office will not conduct any more ultrasounds...that wasn't sitting well with me...I've never done this before, but I'm pretty sure that's not normal....for a mother to go 13 weeks without seeing her baby on the screen, even if it's black and white, at least you can see her and know she's okay! So, during the appointment yesterday, I laid it on THICK.....I told the doctor that I was really concerned about not seeing Savannah, etc. etc....I point blank asked him if he could come up with the some excuse for us to conduct another ultrasound...he was awesome and said, "Certainly, I'll write up the request now, so in two weeks, you can see Savy and how big she's getting!" Thank you LORD! Chris and I are thankful to have such a great doctor! After I was finished with all my questions, I turned to Chris AKA "Indiana Jones" and said, "Indy, did you have a question for the doctor?" Chris looked at the doctor and asked, "Can I cut the cord with my pocket knife?" I could not help but to BUST out in laughter....cause the doctor gave him this look like, "Sure, Idiot!" In about 2 weeks we'll have a new photo to debut of Princess Savy. By the way, my nephew Eli helped me come up with a nickname for Savannah...we already had, Savy...but Eli wanted to help Nana pick out a nickname...she's got nicknames for Eli and Brody...now it's time for Savy to have one. So, Eli and I were talking over the weekend and he came up with a couple, "turkey" was one of them...that I quickly shot down...then he said, "ooohhh, I know, what about princess?" I said, "Eli, that's perfect!" He's such a sweet kid! So there ya have it, Princess Savy is her nickname! I'll post some photos of this past weekend as soon as I get the energy to download the photos...I'm so lazy these days! Ta-Ta for now!

Preggo Photo
LORD HAVE MERCY! Check out that belly! I can't remember when this photo was taken...it had to have been two months ago...cause the belly today is much larger! I like to say "I'm large and in charge!" Pregnancy has been a unique experience, to say the least...don't get me wrong, I am loving being pregnant and seriously want to have another baby and Savannah isn't even here yet. Chris probably wouldn't agree that he's enjoying the pregnancy as much as I...one thing is for sure...our electric bill has doubled! I stay HOT all the time and he freezes. He made the comment the other night that it's Artic cold in this house.....not much came out of my mouth (shocker), I think the "look" I gave him said what needed to be said! Before we go to bed, he'll set the air at 75 degrees...I'll get up in the middle of the night (a couple times actually) and push it back to 70. . .it goes back and forth, he change it to 75, I'll change it to 70. We'll wake in the next morning, he'll be in a sweatshirt and I'll be laying there with no covers on. He has been great through the pregnancy, he always helps me with the house chores, cleaning the kitchen after dinner, sweeping, dusting (which I never do!)...you name it, he's taking care of it. Bless his heart, he's adjusting well the mood swings, which have calmed since two months ago....my mood is really chill, these days. In a way, I feel as if I should focus on being positive and staying healthy for Savannah and myself! So, that's what I've been doing, not stressing about anything...just sitting back and enjoying feeling Savannah move around like a WILD WOMAN! She's getting me ready for when she arrives...she's going to be a doll, no doudt....but she will also be a pistol...taking after her daddy, of course! We have a big weekend coming up...Memorial Day. I have a shower this Saturday and then Chris and I are going on a little sailing adventure before I get to large to go out on the boat. I hope to take some photos of our sailing trip and the shower....until then, Tata for now!
Random photos
I finally downloaded all 814 photos from my camera and here are some of the random photos that came across...ENJOY
Chris and Raz with one of Savannah's onesies...my Granny Ma Bell always said that little babies needed to wear undershirts, so this was Papa's first present to Savannah, a package of undershirts. Granny Ma would be proud!
Butt Crack in Belton.....funny story behind this photo. While I was in Texas visiting my sister over Easter weekend, we attended an Easter Egg Hunt at their church in Belton, Texas. Steve, my brother in law and I stood behind this lady during the little program they performed...she kept bending down and everytime she did, we would see this.....Steve and I both looked at each other and tried really hard not the laugh, but it was way to tough to hold back and it was way to hard to resist taking a photo...we both figured it was "blog worthy". It may not be the prettiest sight, but man o man, it was pretty funny!
Harley (on top of the chair) and Raz chillin' afte a long weekend at Nana & Papa's house. For some reason, everytime we visit my parents in Panama City, the pups are so exhausted when we get home. And I can't figure out why....the extend of Harley's activities while at Nana's is jumping off the couch to move to the floor for another round of naps...Raz, I can understand why he's so tired...he likes to swin in the lake with snakes! That'll do it!
Brody riding his motorcycle with his riding boots on...he went to McAllister's Deli in this outfit. Stinker!
Eli found Papa Pete's pipe, looks like he might have knocked out a tooth with that thing, hee hee! Cute boy!
