My favorite photos of Savannah

Couldn't you just eat her up?
Nice little view up her nostrile...sorry, but I thought it was a funny photo
This photo CRACKS me up....who does she take after with this glare??? Check out those checks...she looks like a chipmunk!

Random photos

Hanging out with Mommie...I have to find ways to entertain her while I get ready...on this day, she was enjoying her "wake" time by laying in her Boppy (love that thing!)
Smiling for Daddy...she had just finished eating.
"Wake" time...looks like she busting a dance move.
She likes her bath time.
Playing dress up with Mommie! Ain't she cute?

SPOILED ROTTEN

Savannah with her Uncle Larry
Savannah chillin' with Papa
Savannah and I stopped by Mom's office to see everybody...all the ladies at Mom's office are so sweet and they totally fell in love with Savy! Who wouldn't?

PROJECTILE

Before I was a Mommie, I would hear horror stories about parents that had babies that were projectile vomiters...the stories would get more and more detailed and to be honest pretty darn disgusting...as I listened to these stories, I would think to myself, "man, that had to suck!" Well, this particular afternoon I found myself in their shoes. Savannah has never had a problem with projectile vomiting, maybe some little spit-ups, but that's it. Here's how it all went down....I fed her the normal amount of food at her scheduled feeding...I burped her every ounce and even burped a little extra after she finished her bottle...after about an hour of burping and wake time, it was time to change her diaper and lay her down for her nap. The diaper change was successful, but about the time I went to pick her up, she had this weird look on her face...eyes opened WIDE. And that's all she wrote..she threw up all over herself, all over the changing pad cover, some landed on the carpet, but I managed to dodge a large portion of it...it only got on my leg. Then came the clean up effots...I had to strip her down, give her a bath, wash the changing pad over, clean the carpet, I had to take a bath and change clothes...after all of that...it was Corona time. No, I'm just joking....it wasn't Corona time...it came later that night! I had to take a photo of the mess Savannah and I made in a hour time frame...I found the Corona bottles in the recycle bin in the garage and thought it would be a nice accessory in this photos. Total madness!

Savannah's 1 month doctor's visit

Ain't she cute?...she was all dressed up for her one month appointment. I am very happy to report that Savannah has conquered her little tummy problem that I blogged about back in August. It all boiled down to be milk allergies. She is now regulated on a formula that is easier on her stomach.

Visit with Aunt Treva

While Chris and I were in Panama City, we stopped by to visit with his Aunt Treva and Uncle Don. We had a great visit...Aunt Treva got some sweet Savannah sugar! We are looking forward to visiting with Aunt Sherry and Aunt Alimae very soon!

Love these Girls!

Little does Savy know, Emalee is going to squeeze her guts out! My Aunt Margaret and I surprised Emalee one afternoon and picked her up from school with Savannah...I think Emalee was about it eat her up in this photo! I'm guessing that Savannah will have the same color hair as Emalee...Savy's hair is blonde and her eyebrows are strawberry blonde...too cute!
Auntie Sarah getting some sweet Savannah sugar! Sarah, her sweet little girl Janey and I ALWAYS meet at our favorite restaurant in Panama City....SWEET MAGNOLIA'S. They have the BEST lemon squash soup (hey, don't knock it until you've tried it!) and their chicken salad ain't to shabby either! This was Savannah's first trip to Sweet Magnolia's...unfortunately Janey wasn't able to join us...she was in school...we hope to see you soon, Janey!
Check out this handsome stud muffin! Introducing Riley James Kruczek. My best friend, Kim and I were pregnant at the same time. It was really funny how we told each other that we were expecting...I called Kim the day I took the pregnancy test and shared the good news...that was 2 days before Thanksgiving 2007...the day after Thanksgiving while Chris and I were traveling back from spending the holidays with his folks at their house in the mountains..Kim called me and tells me that she's pregnant. I was in the middle of Cracker Barrel and screamed. "SHUT UP!"...I quickly had to remove myself from the dining room or the manager was going to...I couldn't stop saying "SHUT UP!" She was due on July 25 and I was due on July 31...I delivered Savannah on July 28 and Kim delivered Riley on July 23.

Savannah loves her cousins!

We have been so busy over the past couple weeks visiting with Eli & Brody...they absolutely adore Savannah! They are so incredibly sweet with her. They give her kisses all the time...I can remember when Eli and Brody were Savannah's age...seems like such a long time ago! Man, how time flies! In the photo below, Brody is helping me feed Savannah. I spent my birthday weekend with Lori and her family in Americus...I had a great birthday! Brody made me a strawberry cake with strawberry icing and it had chocolate polka dots on it. It was waaaay to good. Thanks Brodyman!
Eli and Savy...he likes to call Savannah the PooPoo Princess.
Lori and Brody came to stay with us the week Chris went back to work...it was an awesome week. Lori cooked for us and Brody entertained us ALL day long...he cracks me up! This photo was taken about 2 minutes after they arrived...he walked into the house and immediately wanted to hold Schvannah (that's how he says her name, it's hilarous!) He called Nana (my mom) and told her that he got ALL of Schvannah's sugar. Mom asked him "Did you get that sweet neck sugar?" he replied, "no, I got her hand sugar" ??
Eli's turn to get Savannah's sugar

Tummy Time

We love tummy time!

Right after I took this photo, she did a nose dive on the blanket. OUCH!

Parenthood, WOW!

WOW!
The joys and tears of parenthood have certainly hit me! I could have never imagined that this little girl could bring so much JOY to our lives! She has the most adorable personality. She is now smiling ALL the time...well when she's not screaming her head off! Her lungs are certainly developed, that's for sure! She has also discovered her voice...she let out a littl scream last night while we were having "tummy time", it was too cute. I think she scared herself, cause after she screamed, she stuck out that bottom lip and started to tune up. She calmed herself down and continued to talk to me. It was one of the most precious moments. Everyday she continues to amaze us with her facial expressions...she can throw a look on ya, that's for sure! Hmmmm, wonder where she gets that from? Below are some photos that were taken at my parents house after Tropical Storm Fay. We had waaaaaay too much rain at our house that it flooded our septic tank and therefore created a HUGE mess in the yard and in the house...I'm happy to report that the septic tank issues have worked themselves out, however, the backyard is another story. Let's just say, if you looked at my backyard at the moment, you would think white trash lives here. But Chris is working extremely hard to correct the drainage problems that we are having. The rain did get into the garage (a couple inches deep) so we are looking into having the drywall repaired...I am worried that the mold/mildew will creep into the house and cause major problems. Having said all of that, I ended up staying with my parents over a week while Chris spent that week at the house. Picture this: No place to shower (cause the drains were full b/c of the rain)...so what does Chris do...he takes showers outside on the back deck...now we are really talking white trash! Anyway, it was a week that we will never forget. Check out our little princess in these photos:
Savy and her Mommie
Savy and her Daddy...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PHOTO! This little girl has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger (he knows it, just won't admit it!)

STRIKE A POSE

Ahhh, the many poses of Savannah! It's always comical when we walk into her nursery to wake her up for her next feeding b/c we never know what "pose" she'll strike for us. For those of you who may have wondered what I did while I was home on maternity leave..I took TONS of photos of Savannah! I've been procrastinating on posting pictures on the blog b/c I have so many. I just can't stop taking photos of her...I know one day I'll wake up and she'll be all grown up, so I'm trying to capture every single moment with her!
